Coco Gauff to receive special honor from U.S. Senate

Coco Gauff, the young tennis sensation, is being honored by the U.S. Senate for her amazing U.S. Open win.

Senators from her home states, Georgia and Florida, are recognizing her inspiring achievements.

A resolution written by Senators Jon Ossoff, Marco Rubio, Reverend Raphael Warnock, and Rick Scott celebrates Coco Gauff's passion, faith, and victories.

Gauff made history by winning the U.S. Open, becoming the first American teen to do so since Serena Williams in 1999.

She's been receiving lots of messages from celebrities and famous people who admire her.

Zendaya even sent her a massive bouquet of flowers as a special congratulatory gesture.

Coco Gauff shared her experience in a Tennis Channel interview following her victory.

Gauff also talked about her split from her coach, Pere Riba, who helped her win the U.S. Open.

She has good wishes for her former coach's future and appreciates the support he gave her.

Despite the changes in her coaching team, Coco Gauff is looking forward to her bright future in tennis, with high hopes for becoming the number one player next year.
